Dual Credit for VIC161 Introduction to Photoshop & VIC142 Introduction to Illustrator is achieved by successful completion of Graphic Arts (Semester 1- Intro to Illustrator) and Graphic Arts (Semester 2- Intro to Photoshop).

Graphic Design 1

Course Description: Adobe Illustrator is introduced through a series of illustration-based lessons and projects, with emphasis on the application of the tools used for the creativity and production of graphic images consisting of strokes, fills, blends, gradients and filters, including color considerations for illustration specifications, file formats and file output. Recommended for students interested in basic illustration techniques using Adobe Creative Suite.

Course Description: Adobe Photoshop is an image manipulation software used for print, web and photography. Students develop skills to work creatively and efficiently in Photoshop through a series of design projects. Recommended that students taking this course have MAC or PC experience.
